Underearthers is a inspired by the people how dwell beneath in Norwegian folk lore. Especially Nøkken a creature who dwells in tiny lakes and take the unweary into the deep. He can take on different shapes like that of a beautiful white horse. If you are foolish enough to touch the horse your hand will be stuck to it and he will drag you into the lake. The norwegian artist Thodor Kittelsen has made many images of the underearthers that toghether with the nature they are supposted to live inspired this colourway.
