Elton is a basic cardigan with a mix of stripes and texture. It has a relaxed boxy fit and it is slightly cropped. It’s the perfect garment for lounging and relaxing. It’s worked seamlessly from the top down.

The green Elton in Singles Merino/Silk/Yak and Lace Kid Silk, both in the colourway Lord of the Iles. And the golden one is ina Luxury Fingering Yak/Silk in Gullinbuste and Lace Mulberry Silk in Irish Gold. In order to get the textured stripes, this design combines a fingering-weight yarn with a lace-weight yarn. For this pattern, I recommend picking the same or closely related colours for both yarns, unless you are after more pronounced stripes.
